"I was working on the Teacher in Space Project for NASA in
1986, and had prepared a lot of music specifically for this
mission".
The Challenger disaster affected Jonn deeply. He decided
to use the music he had created to express his feelings
musically, and the result became his first recording. In 1988
the album was used in the opening production of the Christa
McAuliffe Planetarium in Concord, New Hampshire.
Christa's parents were guests of honor that day and the music
is dedicated to her memory.
